Science Night

We are so looking forward to our upcoming Science Night on Wednesday, March 11th from 6-8 in the MPR.  Here are a couple of details to remember.

·         Please have your child drop off their poster board on Tuesday, March 10th either before (7:40-8:00) or after (2:30-2:50) school.  Any additional materials needed to support their project can be brought in the night of the Science Fair.

·         Names should be written with sharpie on the back of the poster board along with teacher name/grade level.

·         Plan to arrive at 5:30 on Wednesday, March 11th.

·         During science night students will be expected to stay with their projects as visitors walk though.  If they would like to leave their stations, please make sure an adult or friend can help facilitate when they step away.

·          Poster boards will be left overnight on the 11th.  Supporting hands on materials should be brought home the evening of science night. Please inform us if there are any spills or custodial needs prior to leaving for the evening.
·          Classrooms will do a morning walk through the next day to see the projects.  Students will be asked to pick up their poster board during the first recess on Thursday, March 12th

*Please let us know if have any request for Science Night (e.g. Electrical outlet access, special placement of display board, etc,).  We will do our best to accommodate all your needs.

We are in need of parent volunteers to help make the night a success. Older Siblings are also encouraged to sign up to help out. Consider signing up using this sign-up genius link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/409044ba8a922a46-bollinger

Thank you so much for supporting your child!  We are incredibly inspired by our students and can’t wait to celebrate them next week. All participating students will receive extra credit for their science participation grade and we will provide participation ribbons the week of March 15th

Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Gratefully,
Kim Lawrence and Kaci Piona
