SDC 2nd review (March 23-27)

In lab we have been exploring plants! We have observed the parts of plants, their life cycle and what they need to survive.

Check out this video on what a plant need to grow!

After watching the video, have students look at the vocabulary image.

1. Ask students to point to each vocabulary word. Start by asking them to point at the plant vocabulary in order (ie. point to the leaves, next point to the stem) Have students repeat the vocabulary words after identifying them.

2. Once students have pointed to all vocabulary, have them identify the parts of the plant at random. (ie point to the flower, point to the branch)

3. After students have identified the plant vocabulary, have students look at the image of a labeled sunflower and point to the parts individually.

4. If possible have students go to the closest plants outside and find these plant parts!
