5th Grade Phases of the Moon

This week we will be studying the moon that orbits the Earth. We look at patterns and functions of the moon in greater detail.  How long does it take the moon to orbit Earth?  How many moons could fit inside the Earth?  Why does the moon look different throughout the month?  Hopefully you will be able to answer these questions and more by the end of the week.
