Welcome Back!!

Welcome to Bollinger Canyon's Science Blog!!  My name is Mrs. Del Rosa and I am the science lab teacher.  I see all 1st-5th graders once a week for 45 minutes.  During that time we work on a hands-on activity that corresponds with science readings done in the classroom.  Please check the blog each week, as I update the activities that we are working on.

4th and 5th grade students and families: You are required to come to the science blog once a week for ~10mins.  There will be a link to a game, reading, quiz, or activity for students to participate in that is connected to the science lab activity you did in the previous class.  I will be giving in class quizzes about the science blog link, so please make sure you include it as part of your homework.  Remember, if you are having computer issues, you can always use the computers in my classroom.

Science Night will be on Wednesday March 23, 2016 this school year.  It’s never too early to start thinking of a science fair project you would like to create.  The library and online resources are a great place to start!  I will send out more information about Science Night in December.
