Science the Week of Sept 3-7

This week in Science Lab:  
1st grade: Our first experiment will be learning more about our 5 senses. We will investigate our sense of touch.  
2nd grade: Students do not have science due to Labor Day Holiday  
3rd grade: Students will learn how our day and night changes depending on our rotation around the sun. They will also learn how this is connected to our changing seasons.  
4th grade: Our first experiment will be comparing the leaves of several different plants, focusing on similarities and differences  
5th grade: Our first experiment will show students how much water on our planet is fresh water and how much is salt water. We will also be able to visualize how much of the fresh water on Earth is a drinkable resource.
